為了讓優(yōu)秀的中國學(xué)子能夠全面深刻地了解奈特-漢尼斯學(xué)者獎學(xué)金項目，項目發(fā)起人、斯坦福大學(xué)第10任校長John Hennessy將與項目招生院長 Derrick Bolton親臨中國，將于2月27日在清華大學(xué)西階教室進(jìn)行宣講。

什么是奈特-漢尼斯學(xué)者獎學(xué)金項目？
奈特-漢尼斯學(xué)者獎學(xué)金項目由斯坦福大學(xué)第10任校長John Hennessy與斯坦福大學(xué)校友、耐克公司創(chuàng)始人Phil Knight共同設(shè)立，是一個研究生階段的獎學(xué)金項目，旨在培育新一代全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者，以應(yīng)對當(dāng)今世界越來越復(fù)雜和極具挑戰(zhàn)性的社會問題。項目資金共計7.5億美元。

奈特-漢尼斯學(xué)者獎學(xué)金項目的使命
自2018年秋季起，奈特-漢尼斯學(xué)者獎學(xué)金項目將每年挑選100名富有領(lǐng)導(dǎo)潛質(zhì)和公民責(zé)任感的優(yōu)秀學(xué)生，向其提供全額獎學(xué)金，資助其在斯坦福大學(xué)攻讀研究生學(xué)位。獎學(xué)金獲得者可選擇就讀于斯坦福大學(xué)七個國際頂尖研究生院中的任意一個研究生院，為未來馳騁商界、政界、學(xué)術(shù)界和非營利領(lǐng)域接受專業(yè)教育。
奈特-漢尼斯學(xué)者獎學(xué)金項目自2017年5月起開始招生，招生申請截止日期為2017年9月27日。此外，項目申請者還需申請準(zhǔn)備攻讀的斯坦福研究生課程。

The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program is a new graduate-level scholarship aimed at preparing the next generation of global leaders to address the increasingly complex challenges facing the world. Starting in fall 2018, Knight-Hennessy Scholars will annually select up to 100 high-achieving students with demonstrated leadership and civic commitment, who will receive full funding to pursue a graduate education at Stanford. Scholars may pursue studies at any of university’s seven internationally top ranked graduate schools, and will be educated to navigate across business, government, academia, and the nonprofit sectors.
The application for the pioneer cohort of Knight-Hennessy Scholars opens in May 2017 and is due September 27, 2017. Applicants to Knight-Hennessy Scholars are also required to apply to the Stanford graduate program in which they seek to enroll. Complete information on the application process is available on:
